Interfaith Prayer Service
Where: St. Mary's Cathedral, 1111 Gough St., San Francisco
The Interfaith Committee for Life will sponsor its 21st Annual Interfaith Memorial Service for the Victims of Abrotion. Featured speakers include Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life; Walter Hoye, Executive Elder of Berkeley Progressive Missionary Baptist Church of Berkeley and founder of the Issues4Life Foundation; and Vicki Evans, Respect Life Coordinator of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Pro-life groups and organizations are invited to attend the service to join in the Offering of Roses. Each rose is offered in remmberance of the more than one and a half million babies aborted each year since the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court in 1973.
