“In 1840's and 50's, the Democratic Party was on the pro-choice side of another great moral issue, the issue of slavery. But the conscience of American voters went for Republican Abraham Lincoln. This proved to be a lengthy history lesson for the democrats. It took our party until 1932 when Roosevelt was elected to regain, with few exceptions, the White House and the Congress. The Walk for Life West Coast will be a wake up call for the Democrats.” "Often life is considered a product of man’s own abilities and power rather than as a gift of God. This mentality limited to productivity easily leads to a specious discrimination against those lives which are not planned, are inconvenient, or ‘unproductive’: unborn babies, old people, the physically or mentally handicapped, defective lives.
