Days until we Walk for Life on January 25, 2025

One of the great thing at the 10th Annual Walk for Life West Coast was all the events that went on around the Walk. One of these was the first annual West Coast Students for Life of America Conference,  ‘Be the Revolution.’  On Saturday, SFLA was present on Market Street handing out 5,000 “I AM the Pro-Life Generation” signs while waiting for the Walk for Life West Coast to arrive. They brought their 25-foot We are the Pro-Life Generation right down to where the people were objecting to the Walk for Life West Coast, at Market and Powell, where they were met with curses and insults. As usual, such behavior backfired, with one Student for Life saying that “…she had been scared to stand at a pro-life booth on her campus before this event but now wasn’t afraid of anything.” Another student said “I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that this trip made the pro-life movement more tangible and exciting than its ever been for me before.”

We are glad the Walk for Life West Coast was the instrument of their education!

On Sunday, SFLA held the ‘Be the Revolution’ conference at St. Mary’s Cathedral. One of the things they did was to present awards to campus groups that had shown outstanding dedication to the pro-life cause.

The first was for West Coast New Group of the Year, and went to  Students for Life at the University of New Mexico.

The Pregnant on Campus award went to Every Life Matters at Concordia University in Irvine.

And the West Coast Group of the Year is Gonzaga University Students for Life.
