As most know, Walter went to jail for asserting his Constitutional right to free speech (his conviction was later overturned by a Federal court) and none of us will ever forget it. And the Archbishop, then Bishop of Oakland, stood up for him the entire time, and Walter will never forget that! They are brothers!
