At the 2010 March for Life in Washington DC, then-head of NARAL, Nancy Keenan lamented “…they are so young…There are so many of them, and they are so young.” Well, since its been open season on them since 1973, why should anyone be surprised that the young are the most committed to overturning Roe v. Wade?
Perhaps the single most wonderful thing at the Walk for Life West Coast is the presence of young people, from babies in strollers to college students. This year, and it’s not the first time, a group of 45 students from Wyoming Catholic College will be at the Walk. What’s more, they will be accompanied by the school’s President, Dr. Kevin Roberts. The teachers and kids at Wyoming Catholic keep the flame of civilization alive with a great books program.
Today, Joshua Scheer, writing at County10, Wyoming had an article about the students coming to the Walk, which began:
“On Saturday, January 25th, forty-five members of the Wyoming Catholic College community — including forty students (approximately one-third of the College’s total student body) — will participate in the 10th annual “Walk for Life West Coast” in San Francisco. The College’s president, Dr. Kevin Roberts, will be in attendance, along with one of the College’s two chaplains. Following Saturday’s Walk, the entire group will participate in the Students For Life of America’s West Coast Conference on Sunday, returning to Lander by late Monday evening….”
God bless our wonderful young people!
